Professor Bill Shireman is speaking at our next SFYR social, Thursday, March 16, 7:30 PM, at Maybeck's Restaurant (Marina District). Shireman is the founder of Future 500 and BridgeUSA, a lecturer at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, an author and podcaster.  A “life-long Republican, Bill is an environmental activist, social progressive, and a free-market enthusiast.” He is dedicated to moving America beyond political polarization via “transpartisan solutions to climate change and other wicked problems.” Professor Shireman has authored books such as What We Learned in the Rainforest: Business Lessons from Nature, and In This Together: How Republicans, Democrats, Capitalists and Activists Are Uniting to Tackle Climate Change and More. He also hosts “A Moment of BS,” a Podcast for the silenced majority.
