Michael Shellenberger is a high-profile author whose writing has focused on the intersection of politics and the environment.  In 2021, Shellenberger became a conservative thought leader attracting national attention with his popular book San Fransicko: Why Progressives Ruin Cities, in which he analyzed how liberal urban policies are linked to homelessness, drug addiction and mental illness. 

Shellenberger took the internet by storm last December when he published the Twitter Files.  His journalism revealed to the world the censorship policies previously in place at Twitter, and to what extent Democrat-aligned government actors were involved.
